In the 2008 video game, “Smackdown vs. Raw”, there is a mode where players can switch between “clean” and “dirty” characters. While in clean mode, players cannot perform any dirty moves; whereas in dirty mode, they are able to use all of theirdirty moves. In this article we will discuss the pros and cons of each mode and whether or not it is worthwhile to change to one over the other.
The main pro of being in clean mode is that players are unable to perform any dirty moves- meaning they will be less likely to get punished for doing such things as low blows andBattle Royales. On the flip side, being in dirty mode allows for more aggressive playstyle as opponents will be more prone to getting scored on with Dirty Deeds (a move which causes opponent’s Super Meter percentageto drop). Clean Mode may well be better suited for people who want an easier time winning matches outright without having to worry about getting penalized harshly while Dirty Mode may be beneficial for those aiming at gaining victories through dominating their opponent’s Super Meter percentages. Ultimately though player preference likely decides which mode is preferable so there isn’t really a definitive answer here unless you’re specifically interested in playing either way.
