Super Mario Run is a mobile game for iOS and Android devices. It was released on December 15, 2016. Super Mario Run is the first Super Mario game to be released on a mobile device. The game has been downloaded over 200 million times.
The objective of the game is to control Mario as he runs through stages, avoiding obstacles and collecting coins. Players can use tap controls to make Mario jump or hold down on the screen to make him run faster. In order to complete stages, players must collect three pink coins in each stage and then reach the flagpole at the end of the stage.
In addition to the main story mode, there are also two other modes: Toad Rally and Kingdom Builder. Toad Rally lets players compete against other players’ scores from around the world; while Kingdom Builder lets players build their own Mushroom Kingdoms using coins collected in Toad Rally Mode..
While Super Mario Run is free-to-play, access to all of its features requires purchasing it for $9.99 USD/£7.99 GBP/€9.99 EUR..
Mario fans were eagerly anticipating Super Mario Run when it was announced by Nintendo in September 2016 that it would be coming to iOS first with an Android release at some point after that.. When it came out however, there were some complaints about how much you have to pay upfront just so you could have access to everything (versus games like Temple Run which give you a lot more freedom even if they’re ad based). I don’t think this will keep people from playing it though – many gamers tend not mind spending money on things like this as long as they feel they’re getting good value in return and Super Mario Run definitely delivers that .. After playing through all 3 modes multiple times I can say without doubt that this is one fantastic mobile game – hopefully we’ll see updates (or maybe even a new level or 2) in future!
