There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on the device you are using and the version of Vs. that is available. However, we can provide some general information about how to install and use Vs. on Android devices.
To install Vs. on an Android device, you will first need to download the app from the Google Play store or App Store. Once downloaded, open the app and sign in with your account credentials (if you have them). You will then be able to select which devices you want to use Vs. on (PC or mobile) and choose your language settings.
Once you have signed in and set up your preferences, you can start using Vs. by opening a project file (.vsproj) that has been saved onto your device or by clicking “New Project” from within the main menu of the app. To create a new project, click “File” from within the main menu of VS., select “New Project,” and then enter a name for your project file (for example, “Project1”). Next, click “Next.” In order to create a new project usingVs.’s integrated development environment (IDE), click “Use VS Code” from within VS.’s main menu and follow instructions provided by VS Code’s installer window. Alternatively, if you would like to use another IDE such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA instead of VS Code, please see our article about choosing an IDE for developing with Visual Studio 2017 .
Once you have created a new project or opened an existing one, all that remains is to add source files (.csproj) for your application’s components and configure any required build settings (such as platform targetting). To add source files for your application’s components, click “Add Files\u2026” from withinVS.’s main menu and browse to where those files reside on your local machine (for example C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Visual Studio\\2017\\Community\\VC14). After adding those files, please ensure that they are added under the correct folder(s) inVS.’s projects tree (“Project1” in our example), select them both inVS.’s Projects panel ,and then press Enter/Return keyto compile them into executable code (.exe/.dll files). Finally,.to configure any required build settings,,selectfromwithinVS\u2019sandenterthe appropriate values intothe corresponding fields.(For more information about configuring build settings for Windows applications using VC++ 2017 , please see our article entitled Configuring Build Settings Using VC++ 2017 .)
