Mods (short for modifications) are user-created files that change the game in some way. They can add new content, change the gameplay, or just make the game look different. Mods are popular with many games, and Portal 2 is no exception. There are a variety of mods available for Portal 2 on Steam, and installing them is easy.
First, open your Steam library and find Portal 2. Right-click on it and select “Properties.” Select the “Local Files” tab, then click “Browse Local Files.” This will open a window where you can see all of the game’s files.
Next, locate the folder called “mods.” If it doesn’t exist, create it yourself. Copy any mods you want to install into this folder. When you’re done, close everything and launch Portal 2. The mods should be loaded automatically!
