MX vs. ATV: Untamed?
When it comes to dirt bikes, a majority of riders prefer MX over ATV. MX bikes are designed for racing and performing stunts; whereas ATVs are designed for more general use on the terrain. However, there is much more to riding an MX bike than just taking off down a sandy trail at high speeds! To be successful on an MX bike, you need to have strong skills in both balancing and cornering as well as good stamina. In contrast, many riders find that simply switching to an ATV makes them better overall riders because they no longer need to focus so intensely on balancing and cornering. So what skill do you need if you want to be successful on either type of bike? Well, in order not to lose balance while riding or drift out of corners, you will need strong footwork and excellent reflexes! Additionally, since MX bikes tend to handle curves more aggressively than ATVs do, it can be helpful if you also have strong suspension skills. And finally- since most MX events take place outdoors in rugged terrain- You\u2019ll definitely need some endurance too!
