Monster House is a 2006 American 3D computer-animated family horror comedy film directed by Gil Kenan and produced by Steven Spielberg. The screenplay was written by Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab, based on a story they wrote with Pamela Pettler. The film stars the voices of Steve Buscemi, Nick Cannon, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jon Heder, Catherine O’Hara, Fred Willard and Jason Lee.
In the film, three kids must prevent their house from being taken over by a group of monsters who want to use it as their new home.
To draw Monster House characters accurately you will need some basic knowledge of how to draw people and some simple shapes that can be easily turned into monstrous features. Once you have mastered the basics you can start creating your own unique characters for this spooky movie!
The first step is to sketch out the basic body shape of your character using simple geometric shapes like circles and rectangles. Don’t worry about making them look perfect at this point \u2013 just get the overall proportions right. Next add in any distinguishing features such as arms, legs or tails using more simple shapes like ovals or triangles. Finally begin adding details such as eyes, teeth and hair using curved lines and small circles. You can also use shading to give your character a more realistic appearance.
Once you have finished drawing your character you can start coloring them in however you like! Bright colors work well for monsters but feel free to experiment with different shades and textures until you find something that looks good to you.
