Avatar: The Last Airbender is an action-adventure game developed by THQ and published by Ubisoft. It was released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Wii, and Windows platforms in October 2006. The plot follows the events of the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender television series. Players can control Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph Bei Fong, Haru or Zuko. Each character has unique attacks and moves that reflect their abilities in the show.
The game received mixed reviews from critics upon release. On Metacritic, the Xbox 360 version holds a score of 66/100 based on 22 reviews,[1] the PlayStation 2 version 60/100 based on 18 reviews,[2] the Game Boy Advance version 63/100 based on 5 reviews,[3] the Nintendo DS version 57/100 based on 10 reviews,[4] and the Wii version 55/100 based on 12 reviews.[5] IGN awarded 7 out of 10 to all console versions except for GBA which got 6 out of 10,[6][7][8][9][10] while GameSpot rated it 6 out of 10.[11]
