Paper Mario: Color Splash is a video game for the Nintendo 3DS handheld system that was released in November 2016. It is the sixth installment in the Paper Mario series, and its story follows Bowser’s attempt to steal the Rainbow Paint Stars from Prism Island, which causes color clashes throughout Prism Island and forces Mario into a battle against his old foe, King Koopa. The player controls Mario as he traverses different levels, defeats enemies, and collects items to help him on his way.
The game has been praised by critics for its colorful graphics and likable characters. However, it has also been criticized for its difficulty level and some of its humor (which some parents have found inappropriate). In light of this mixed response, it is difficult to say whether or not Paper Mario: Color Splash is appropriate for children aged 8 or older. While younger players may find the gameplay challenging enough without parental help, those over 8 years old may find it too hard. Additionally, there are several scenes in which violence occurs – though these are generally brief \u2013 so parents should decide if their children are ready for such content before letting them play the game. Overall, while Paper Mario: Color Splash may not be suitable for all ages, it is an entertaining adventure that will keep players entertained for hours on end
