Paws & Claws Pet Resort is a pet daycare and boarding facility located in the town of Lebanon, New Hampshire. The business has been open for over 10 years and employs around 25 people. However, recent reports suggest that Paws & Claws may be facing closure due to financial difficulties.
The problem seems to stem from high operating costs combined with low revenues. According to local news sources, the business has been struggling to make ends meet since its two biggest customers – a major grocery chain and a nearby college – ceased doing business with them last year. In order to try and save the business, management has reportedly considered cutting staff and closing down altogether.
Closing down would be a big loss for the local community, as Paws & Claws was one of the few businesses in Lebanon catering specifically to pet owners. It’s also likely that many of the employees would find new jobs elsewhere if it closed down – which is something that they will no doubt be grateful for given their current situation. If things do go wrong however, it’s important that any potential creditors are aware of Paws & Claws’ situation in case they decide to pull out support at a difficult time.
