The Future Cop L-A-P-D- – 1998 VG is a police officer training video game for the PlayStation. It was developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment America. The game was released in North America on October 5, 1998 and in Europe on November 3, 1998.
The game received “mixed or average” reviews according to review aggregator Metacritic. Critics praised its graphics but criticized its gameplay as being too simplistic, while others found it challenging enough. As of 2019, the game has sold 2 million copies worldwide.[1]
