Phantasy Star Universe was first announced in Japan as “Project A” back in 2003, but it wasn’t until 2006 that Sega finally green-lit the game for release. It was released in North America on October 9th, 2008 and in Europe on November 8th of the same year. Throughout its development cycle, there were several changes made to the game – some small and others large. Ultimately though, the end result is an incredibly polished title that fans of all classic RPG’s should check out.
