Video Chess was created in 1971 by Dr. Vincent Perrone and Dr. Claude Shannon. It is a two player board game that uses a chess board with video images of the pieces instead of physical pieces. The object of the game is to capture all of your opponent’s pieces, or to block their moves so that they cannot make any more progress on the board.
